Complete, sign & email the Customs Power of Attorney & Customs Broker Importer Verification documents.
(Enclosed within Resources, Forms & Documents.)
2. Email Required Information & Signed Documents
– Required documents(at minimum):
– Commercial Invoice
– Packing List
– Bill of lading
– Importer Security Filing (ISF) Ocean only
– Permits / PGAs Upon request
3. Your Customs Broker gets to work for you
Your broker will review your relevant entry documents, and notify you via email if any further documents or information are required.
They will continue to keep you updated on the status of your shipment and we encourage any questions along the way.
4. Your clearance request is processed
Your broker will create your customs declaration(CF7501) and submit it directly to U.S. Customs via our secure Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).
5. Payment
Bluefin CHB is a C.O.D service; upon submission to U.S. Customs a payment is required(via check copy or ACH wire transfer.)
This payment includes:
– Duties, If due
– Customs fees, If due
– Brokerage fee
– Freight and warehouse payments, If due
– Disbursement fees, If due
6. Release of goods
Once your clearance has been confirmed by U.S. Customs, you will receive copies of your 7501 (Customs Accounting Document). Your goods are released and ready for the final destination
